Rechartering Resources

All Packs, Troops, Crews, Ships, and Posts are required to recharter on-line. On-line rechartering is the best method to help ensure that the information you provide is accurate and current. On-line rechartering can be done from the convenience of your home or office. It’s secure and easy-to-use.

Charter Renewal Fees:

Fee Name Amount Notes
National Registration $60 per youth  This money goes to national
National Registration $36 per adult This money goes to national
Insurance Recovery Fee $24 per youth per adult Pays for local insurance
Scout Life Magazine $12 per youth per adult Recommended for every youth
Unit Charter Org Fee $60 per unit  Flat fee per unit

Important Dates & Deadlines:

  • Thursday, October 3 – Charter Renewal emails will be sent to the Unit Leader and Committee Chair
  • Please Note: All charters must be submitted no later than Friday, December 6. This is necessary to allow enough time for your charter to be processed prior to its expiration on December 31st.

Youth Protection

The Long Beach Area Council requires current Youth Protection Training (YPT) for all adults.
