Rechartering Resources

All Packs, Troops, Crews, Ships, and Posts are required to recharter on-line. On-line rechartering is the best method to help ensure that the information you provide is accurate and current. On-line rechartering can be done from the convenience of your home or office. It’s secure and easy-to-use.

Charter Renewal Fees:

$33 per youth – National membership fee
(this fee does not benefit the council)

$33 per adult – National membership fee
(this fee does not benefit the council)

$12 per person – Boys’ Life magazine subscription
(this fee does not benefit the council)

$40 per unit – Annual Charter Organization fee
(this fee does not benefit the council)

Important Dates & Deadlines:

Monday, October 1 – Charter Renewal emails will be sent to the Unit Leader and Committee Chair

Thursday, October 11 – First chance turn-in day

Thursday, November 8 – Second chance turn-in day

Friday, November 30 – Last chance turn-in day

Please Note: All charters must be submitted at the November Roundtable. If for some reason you cannot submit your charter in November there will be a Council wide charter turn in day on Friday, November 30. All charters must be submitted no later than Friday, November 30. This is necessary to allow enough time for your charter to be processed prior to its expiration on December 31st.

Youth Protection

The Long Beach Area Council requires current Youth Protection Training (YPT) for all adults.
