Ten Commandments Hike

Celebrating Diversity Through our Faith

An annual favorite of Scouts, parents, and siblings alike. The purpose of the Ten Commandment Hike is to provide an opportunity for young scouts to live their faith, while learning how the Ten Commandments play an important part in their lives and serve as a foundation in living their faith.  This event rotates to different parts of our community each year, taking place the Friday following Thanksgiving. Join us as we discover the strength in our local faith community.

Event 2021 Recap:

An annual favorite and tradition for all scouts, siblings, and parents. Visiting local churches, learning how diverse our community is and how much we have in common through faith.

The 10 commandments are the foundation of various faith’s learnings. It’s a time to learn and share. In 2021 we added Scouters to present a commandment and live music was performed by the Christian youth ministry leaders from Calvary Chapel of Downey.
