Welcome! We have programs for youth.
Programs for youth is our specialty. We have tons of fun planned for your family right here in Long Beach. With more than 20 Cub Scout Packs and 25 Scout Troops, we have groups near you. The list below shows outings, camp-outs, activities, events, and fun adventures for both boys and girls ages 5-17. Our programs include both virtual and in-person safely distanced activities following COVID-19 protocols.

| Pinewood Derby Clinic #1 | February 11th | At a Pinewood Derby clinic volunteers help scouts start building their cars. Scouts learn about classic designs or can bring their own plans. |
| Pinewood Derby Clinic #2 | March 11th | At a Pinewood Derby clinic volunteers help scouts start building their cars. Scouts learn about classic designs or can bring their own plans. |
| Spring Aquatics Camp | April 10-14 | Fun on the water in Long Beach. Kayak, boat rides, games, and more. For boys and girls grades 2-12. |
| Pinewood Derby Championships | April 22 | Top winners of each rank from every pack compete against winners from other packs in an all-out District Race. |
| Memorial Day Flag Placement | May 27 | Troop Leaders set up the event to make sure that Scouts understand the significance of Memorial Day and honoring the lives of those lost during service. |
| Memorial Day Family Camp | May 26-29 | Parents, we invite you to bring your family to our very own Camp Tahquitz in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains over Memorial Day Weekend. |
| Summer Aquatics Camp | June 26- August 18 | Fun on the water in Long Beach. Kayak, boat rides, games, and more. For boys and girls grades 2-12. |
| Webelos Weekend | August 11-13 | Weekend campout with tons of activities specifically for boys and girls going into 4th and 5th grades. |
| Scout O Rama! | September 30 | Public expo showcasing the best of Scouting has to offer in our community. |
| Cub-BOO-Ree | October 13-15 | The biggest Cub-campout of the year. Can’t miss out on this much fun. |
| Webelos West Fair | November 8 | The Webelos to Scout Transition Fair gives you a preview of different troops in our community. A good way to find the best Troop for you and your Webelos Scout. |
| Scouting for Food | November 11 | Scouts collect 20,000+ pounds of food going door to door for others in our community. |
| Ten Commandments Hike | November 24 | A local urban hike visiting ten places of worship in our community of varying backgrounds and beliefs. |
| Belmont Shore Christmas Parade | December 2 | Scouts Participate in one of the biggest parades of the year in Long Beach. |
