Chris started with the Long Beach Area Council in 2015. Prior to coming to the Boy Scouts, Chris worked for the US Sailing Center in Long Beach as a US Sailing Certified Keelboat Instructor with added responsibilities for fleet rigging and maintenance.

Chris has a US Coast Guard Masters 100 Ton Captain’s License with a sailing endorsement and towing endorsement. He has delivered boats all over the West Coast of the United States and Mexico including several trips to and from Hawaii. Chris also has a strong background in business, sales and customer service.

A native of Long Beach, Chris grew up in the Scouting program from Tiger Cubs all the way up through earning the rank of Eagle. Chris still resides in Long Beach with his wife and three young daughters. In his free time, Chris enjoys racing sailboats, going to their family cabin in Crestline, and taking bike rides.

Chris attended UCLA where he studied Applied Mathematics.
