Learning for life 2 The Outdoor Science Experience is an added value component offered locally to schools who participate in our character education programs. It gives inner city second grade boys and girls the opportunity to have a hands-on day of science in the wooded Will J. Reid Park. Teachers have said, “The Outdoor Science Experience gives the students more hands on science in one day than they experience all year.” This program encourages students to not only explore science but to learn to respect and to conserve our environment.

The Champions Program serves special-needs students in our community. It teaches youth with disabilities the life skills they need to achieve self-sufficiency and transition from the school environment to the workplace.
